Consulting Projects

VLTED (April 2025 — June 2025)

VLTED is a social sports betting platform designed to enhance employee recognition and team building within the corporate space. For this partnership, we assembled a team of five BSBA members who conducted market research and delivered a strategic assessment aimed at accelerating product adoption and market growth. Additionally, we developed a new platform feature designed to enhance user engagement and further differentiate VLTED in a rapidly evolving tech landscape.

WagerWire (June 2025 — August 2025)

Named to Business Insiders’ list of “25 promising sports startups to watch,” WagerWire is an innovative marketplace where sports bettors can buy and sell previously placed sports bets. Our consultants delivered data-driven insights and creative content to elevate WagerWire’s presence within the dynamic sports betting ecosystem. Our team produced analytical articles that spotlighted compelling storylines and betting trends, as well as corresponding social media content, aimed at capturing user interest and driving engagement.

UCLA Athletics (June 2025 — August 2025)

In collaboration with UCLA Athletics, our team developed a strategy to revitalize student attendance and engagement in the newly implemented standing-only student section at the Rose Bowl. Despite initial enthusiasm, the section underperformed in both turnout and energy during the 2024 football season. Our team was tasked with identifying strategies to improve the promotion of the new section and elevate the overall student experience on game days.

Playfly Sports (January 2026-May 2026):

Working alongside Aaron Lowenberg, our MLB and NBA project teams conducted extensive consumer research and stakeholder interviews to better understand how younger audiences engage with professional sports. Through data-driven analysis, the teams identified key challenges impacting viewership among Gen Z and younger demographics and developed strategic recommendations to strengthen engagement and grow future fan bases. From evolving media consumption habits to innovative content, distribution, and fan engagement strategies, both teams delivered actionable solutions designed to help the MLB and NBA connect more effectively with the next generation of fans.

Wooden Athletic Fund (January 2026-March 2026)

Over the quarter, our team conducted in-depth market research, analyzed the Wooden Athletic Fund’s current strategy, and developed actionable recommendations to help broaden its donor base, grow annual giving, and build deeper, more meaningful relationships with supporters.
