ABOUT THE JOURNAL
The Bruin Sports Business Association (BSBA) Quarterly Journal is a publication that reflects the research, analysis, and editorial commitment of the organization’s journalism team. This journal highlights the work of talented UCLA undergraduate students who have contributed to the discourse at the intersection of sport and business.
The articles contained herein examine a broad range of contemporary issues, including industry trends, organizational strategy, athlete management, media and sponsorship rights, and the global economics of sport. Each piece has been developed with the intent to advance understanding, encourage dialogue, and foster critical thought regarding the challenges and opportunities present within the sports business landscape.
In addition to original student work, this volume provides a record of BSBA’s events during the quarter. Summaries of programming and organizational initiatives are included to document the association’s continued role in cultivating professional development and intellectual engagement for its club members. It is with great pride that we present this journal, confident that it will serve not only as a testament to the intellectual contributions of our members but also as a meaningful addition to the broader discourse on sports business.
